Team Possibles

Team Possibles is an art program with a focus on celebrating the Down syndrome community and culture. Team Possibles art projects are designed to increase social inclusion, understanding and community involvement

for members of the Down syndrome community. Led by Artist and Educator Renee Forrestall since 2007, Team is supported by professional artists, volunteers and community organizations.

2023-2024

Team Possibles launches Super Nova Art Fest, a multi discipline artistic extravaganza showcasing Team’s many talents, and hoping to become an annual event. Super Nova Arts Fest is November 25, 2023 at St Marys Boat Club for Art Sale 10am-4pm and Dance and Performances 6-8pm. The event is made possible thanks to the support of the Province of Nova Scotia, HNSDSS and HRM Recreation. It features Planet*21, Lemonade Stand Designs and DJ Ed. The goal of this event is for the public to collaborate and learn from the DS community, to recognize their culture and their unique contributions to our community as cognitively diverse artists.

Team Possibles participates at the Dr. Brian Hennan Inclusion Conference on Nov 16, 2023.
